POLICE have confirmed the body of a man found in the Pontardawe area was that of missing Ammanford man Douglas Trickett.
On Wednesday night Dyfed-Powys Police issued a missing person appeal for the 35-year-old.
It was later confirmed on Thursday morning a body had been found in the Pontardawe area.
A police spokeswoman said: “Police can confirm that the man whose body was found in the Pontardawe area on Thursday, April 21, has been positively identified as 35 year old Douglas Trickett from the Ammanford area."
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
