A SCHOOL bus was on fire in the Amman Valley this morning.
Nobody was on board at the time the fire broke out, outside Ysgol Dyffryn Aman shortly before 8.10am on Tuesday, January 31.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene and confirmed that no one was on board the 53-seater bus at the time of the fire and that it had been extinguished prior to their arrival.

The statement from a spokesman for the fire service read: “At 8.07am on Tuesday, January 31, the Ammanford crew were called to an incident at Amman Valley Comprehensive School, Ammanford.
“It was reported that a 53-seater bus, with no one on-board, was on fire. The fire was out on arrival.
“The crew left the scene at 8.32am.”
