FIREFIGHTERS from the Upper Gwendraeth Valley were in attendance at a tractor fire in Carmarthen yesterday.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire near Carmarthen Railway Station at 2.12pm on Monday, June 26.
The service sent crews from Tumble as well as Carmarthen and Pontiets and on arrival, found that a tractor was ‘well alight.’
The crews used a hose reel jet with foam and one breathing apparatus set to extinguish the fire, before leaving the scene at 3.30pm.
Carmarthen Railway Station was unaffected by the fire.
