FREE to a good home: one 20ft-high 30ft-long brontosaurus that used to live in the Jurassic period approximately 150 million years ago...
Staff at Dan yr Ogof Showcaves Centre For Wales, in the Swansea Valley, want to hear from anyone who fancies having a massive plant-eating dinosaur model in their back garden.
Centre chairman Ashford Price confirmed that Bronto is going free – but any takers would have to provide transport.
He said Bronto is having to go to make room for a new flesh-eating dinosaur model.
“We will be sad to see our brontosaurus go as it was one of our original models in our collection,” he added.
“However, if anyone can offer Bronto a new home I hope they will contact us.
“It is a bit too big to post, so they will have to sort out how they get it home.”
