Having decided to retire from local politics I should like to thank the people of Ammanford and Pantyffynnon for their sup- port over the last 20 years. I am also grateful to the many local organisations that I have worked closely with. I am particularly grateful to the staff of Carmarthenshire County Council based at offices in Ammanford, Llanelli and Carmarthen who have always dealt so efficiently with all my enquiries during my time as a Councillor.
