Key Carmarthenshire rail line reopens ahead of Easter weekend
Train services between Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire have resumed this morning following the completion of work. After ten days of necessary round-the-clock work, the railway between Carmarthen and Pembroke Dock was re-opened on March 28.

A passionate meeting to discuss the future of the threatened Ammanford campus has been held. The Coleg Sir Gar, known as a ‘Tech’ college wants to shut its facilities and relocate services to Pibwrlwyd campus on the outskirts of Carmarthen.

Snow falls overnight in Ammanford as travel warning issued
Snow has fallen overnight in Ammanford, and a couple of inches have settled on Betws mountain. The Nags Head pub in Lampeter posted on Facebook: "Someone say snow day!, if it carries on like this bring a carrier bag of wood for the fire and get
