A CONCERT by the well known Amman Valley ladies choir Lleisiau'r Cwm will be held at St Michael's church, Ammanford on Friday, September 27 at 7pm.
Under the leadership of Catrin Hughes, the choir has gone from strength to strength since it was formed in 1996 in order to compete at the Llandeilo National Eisteddfod.
The choir's contribution to local charities is renowned and on this occasion they are helping to raise funds for the parish of Ammanford.
Their achievements at music festivals include winning the ladies choir title three years running at Porthcawl Miners Eisteddfod, and they have been successful at several National Eisteddfodau.
They have regularly appeared on S4C on Noson Lawen and Dechrau Canu Dechrau Canmol.
Tickets for the concert , which cost £5, can be bought at the door.
