A BRAND new dance festival will be taking over Carmarthen showground in May.
Organisers of the Together Festival have announced some of the biggest and best clubbing brands, including Bionic, Delusion, Dirty Knees and Memorex, to host a variety of arenas, covering everything from House to Trance, Techno and Hip Hop.
The event, which will take place on May 31, will be the only dance music festival in Wales this year, so organisers promise to bring all of Wales's major clubbing brands together, the final line up will be announced next week.
Promotions Director, Jason Thomas said: "We are extremely excited to have such iconic brands on board and can't wait to hear the final line-up from each arena.
"I am thrilled Bionic will be hosting our main arena, as a huge Hardstyle fan, knowing they have over a decade of event experience and won numerous awards over the past three years, this will be the one event not to miss."
The organisers also announced that premium drink brands Smirnoff; Heineken; Bulmers and Desperados will be the brand sponsors of the event, with Red Bull hosting a ‘Future Stage’ which will showcase some of the best up and coming talent from around the area.
Nash Gooderham, Managing Director of LMG (Live Management Group), Organisers of the Festival said: “We are delighted that we have been able to fulfil our original goal, of producing a Festival for Wales, using purely Welsh clubbing brands. The Festival will mark the start of a new era in Welsh clubbing and will ensure that Wales is put firmly back on the clubbing map. We’re hoping that the event will be a huge success and that we can develop the Festival into a larger two day event, in the future.”
The Festival organisers are anticipating the event will attract people from all over the UK, and have a limited number of camping pitches available on site for people who want to stay on both the Friday and Saturday nights.
