YOU CAN rely on a cracking good laugh when Miracle Theatre comes into town.
This February they will be stopping off at The Welfare - Ystradgynlais to explore the world both past and future with the aid of an extraordinary and somewhat unpredictable Time Machine.
The first of only two appearances in Wales, The Time Machine will perform for one night only on Tuesday, February 20, at 7pm.
Inspired by the famous HG Wells story, this family comedy is a new twist of an old tale. Where would you travel? To the past or to the future? This vibrant piece of musical theatre will present some of the external questions of adult life while the children are enthralled, delighted and intrigued by the jokes, songs and the unexpected things' that invariably happen in a Miracle show.
The three strong cast of Tom Adams, Jo Bowis and Benjamin Dyson present superb comic timing in this action-packed play set in the 1950s Beat Generation period. When a love struck individual comes across a time machine he decides that rather than embarking on the trip of a lifetime he wants to travel back 11 months to a time when the girl he loves was not engaged to another man. Accompanied by superb technology that incorporates the use of film, the hilarious adventures surrounding this love triangle are not to be missed.
Tickets for this production are £6 , £4 and £14 for a family ticket. They are available from the box office on 01639 843163 between 10am and 2pm Monday to Friday.
