OPERA della Luna, a company blows fresh air through the stuffy corridors of opera, presents HMS Pinafore at Pontardawe Arts Centre tomorrow night (Thursday).
Ralph Rackstraw is not a happy man.
A humble sailor aboard the HMS Pinafore, Rackstraw is in love with the captain's daughter, but Josephine is to be married to Sir Joseph Porter, the First Lord of the Admirality.
Even if Josephine does love him, surely he can't compete with Sir Joseph - or can he?
In true Opera della Luna style, eight talented and versatile singers/actors become the crew, chorus and principals in this fast and extremely funny production of Gilbert and Sullivan's classic comedy opera.
