OWEN Gareth Wyn Peacefully on Sunday, February 14th at his home, Gareth of Pontamman Road, Ammanford. Beloved husband of Delyth, loving and adored father of Heulwen and Geraint, dear father-in-law of Gareth and Lynne, devoted grandfather of Angharad and husband Huw, of Owen and Rhys, cherished great-grandfather of Nansi and loving brother of Siân and husband Malcolm and Eleanor. A conscientious teacher and mentor to his pupils who enjoyed a glass of Merlot whilst reading the rugby news on the 'Western Mail' and planning his next distinctive water colour. He was always a loyal friend to many. Funeral on Friday, March 5th, the cortege will be leaving his home at 2.30p.m. for a private service at Llanelli Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to Childline kindly received by Hywel Griffiths and Sons, Funeral Directors, Bwtrimawr, 39 Betws Road, Betws, Ammanford SA18 2HE.
