JAMES Douglas Rhys (Doug) Peacefully on Thursday, June 23rd at his home, Royal Oak Farm, Llandybie, in the presence of his family, Douglas Rhys. Beloved husband to Iona for 63 years, devoted father to Dylan, Ann and Mark, respected father-in-law to Tim and Andrea, much loved grandfather to Matthew, Sarah, Rhys, Nia, Ffion and Rhiannon, dear grandfather-in-law to Ffion, Elin and Dion and cherished Tad-cu Pop Pop to Harri. Funeral on Wednesday, July 6th, service for family and friends at Llandybie Parish Church at 11.00am prior to interment at the churchyard. No flowers please. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to the 'Wales Air Ambulance' kindly received by Hywel Griffiths and Son, Funeral Directors, Bwtrimawr, 39, Betws Road, Betws, Ammanford. SA18 2HE.
