IF YOUare looking for an affordable and fun festival to take the whole family to this summer, then look no further then Party on the Pitch at Tycroes RFC.

The annual Party on the Pitch has become the hottest ticket around and while this year sees a scaled-down version, it is still guaranteed to be big on fun. Once again, music lovers and fun seekers will pack out the pitch on Saturday, June 8, to enjoy live music, stalls and other attractions.

Seven local bands will be playing and all are ready to rock Tycroes with nine hours of live music.

The exciting line-up features, Jack Danielz, Stand up&Shout, Peepshow, Carbon, and The Knuckle Downs, as well as The Ecko, and Superhans. The event will also feature a six-a-side football tournament, hog roast, burger van and outside bar, plus a bungee jump, bucking bronco and more.

Party on the Pitch is aimed at people of all ages, there will be something for everyone.

Why not start the day with a bit of top-quality rugby by watching Queensland Reds v British & Irish Lions being shown live at the clubhouse at 10.30am?

Tickets are £5 and primary school children get in for free.

A spokesman for the club says: “Once again, we have been overwhelmed by acts who would like to play the festival, which is a great testament.

“The idea is to enable a fantastic, affordable day out while listening to some great live music – our aim is to make your day a memorable one so that you keep coming back year after year!

“It’s back to basics, but we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the bands involved and you, our loyal supporters, for your patience and continued support. See you all on Saturday June 8.”
