Shirley Duggins presided with 37 members present. The meeting opened with a hymn with Megan at the piano. Cled Morgan gave the reading, members then joined in the Lord's prayer.
Members ill this week included Freda Williams, Fred Hutchins, Hazel Williams and Bethan Davies, all are sent our get-well wishes.
Raffle prizes were given by Howell, Mavine Peter, Anita, Margaret and guest David Beynon, many thanks to all.
The speaker was the Rev Philip Stephens.
Philip is well known as the compiler and present of the Swansea Sound programme 'Songs for Sunday' also for producing documentaries such as Aberfan.
The talk today was the importance of music in our life now and in the past. It was an interesting and varied talk by Philip. Geraldine gave a warm vote of thanks on members' behalf.
The raffle was drawn and won by Mavine, Non, Nancy and Joan.
The doxology and refreshments ended the meeting. ]
