The new mayor of Cwmamman has again stressed the importance of promoting the area as a tourist destination to encourage visitors.

“We hear so much about Llandeilo and Llandovery and the Towy Valley but when it comes to the Amman Valley we are treated as a wasteland,” said Mayor Dafydd Wyn.

“We need to encourage people to come here and help them learn about the area.”
