A team of young racers from Tycroes have claimed the chequered flag in a national competition.
The jubilant pupils from Ysgol Tycroes raced into pole position to be named National Champions in the F1 in Schools Technology Challenge.
The Tycroes Split Second team saw off 26 teams from other schools to claim the coveted title.
As part of their prize, the Split Second youngsters were taken to Silverstone where they met Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone and former world champion racing driver Jenson Button.
