THE theft of fowl from a chicken coop in Llandybie is under investigation by police.
They say a duck and a cockerel were taken from a property on Ammanford Road some time between midnight on August 14 and midnight on August 21.
"Evidence indicates they were not taken by another animal as the fastening to the entrance had been retied in a different way to how it was left," said a spokeswoman.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have been offered these birds for sale. Officers can be contacted at Ammanford police station on 101.
