A PONTARDAWE brownie has won first prize in the All Wales Girls Speaking Competition Finals at Port Talbot.
Hannah Stubbs from 1st Rhos Brownies, Pontardawe, had six minutes to speak on her chosen topic, violence against women, and was given time to prepare a two minute impromptu speech, titled 'Where I want to be in five years' time'.
The competition - organised by Soroptimist International Wales in partnership with Girl Guiding Cymru - was held at Aberavon Hotel, Port Talbot, and as an added bonus Hannah received a cheque for £100.
