A Tumble teenager has been remanded in custody after stealing £500 from his grandparents' house.
Gavin Phillips, of Rhosnewydd, burgled the couple's home at Tir Beca while they were visiting a relative in London at the beginning of November.
Phillips, aged 18, admitted the offence at Llanelli Magistrates' Court, but failed to appear at Swansea Crown Court after the case was transferred there in December.
A judge issued a warrant for Phillips' arrest. He will be remanded in custody until he is sentenced following probation reports.
