PLANS for the relocation of ten static caravans at a Towy Valley camp site have been approved.
The application, for caravans to be relocated from within the Camping and Caravanning Club site at Rhandirmwyn, was given the go-ahead at a Carmarthenshire Council planning meeting last week.
The green light came despite objectors claiming that the proposal would cause unacceptable harm to the landscape quality of the area.
They also claimed that the plans would have an unacceptable effect on the existing ecosystem.
Nonetheless, permission was granted after the Environ-ment Agency gave their thumbs-up to the application.
