A desperate Garnant dog-lover is offering £1,000 for the safe return of her beloved pooch.
Julie Edmonds, of Nant Gwineu Barn, in Llandeilo Road, had previously offered £200 for the safe return of four-year-old jack russell Gypsy (pictured right), but to no avail.
Now Julie, who has put up 200 posters around the Amman Valley, has upped the reward to £1,000.
"I have done everything I can, said Julie, "but no-one has come forward. I am absolutely devastated."
So concerned is she about Gypsy's vanishing act and the disappearance of at least ten more Amman Valley jack russells that she has had her three other dogs - Taff, Oscar and Jack - microchipped. Julie is also looking into the possibility of having their DNA stored for identification purposes. "It just seems funny that a lot of other jack russells have gone missing in this area recently all at the same time," she said.
