TEACHERS from 10 schools across the county have attended a hockey coaching course.
More and more primary schools throughout the county are adding hockey to their sporting curriculum.
The course was run at Amman Valley Leisure Centre by the Welsh Hockey Union Coaches for Teachers' Award.
The course was aimed at Primary school teachers but was also open to volunteers and students prepared to teach hockey within their local clubs.
The course develops skills enabling those involved to gain confidence in delivering hockey activities encouraging more children to take up hockey.
