AMBULANCE Service personnel have paid tribute to a popular Towy Valley paramedic who has been found dead near his parents' home in the Gwent valleys.
Devoted father-of-two Phillip Tottle, 40, from Bethlehem, near Llandeilo, had been missing for several days before his body was discovered in Torfaen. He had been suffering from depression.
Andy Roughton, Central and West Wales director of ambulance services, said: "It's a very sad loss. Our hearts go out to his family."
Mr Tottle's distraught wife Sarah had earlier made an emotional plea through the Guardian for her husband to get in touch.
The couple have two children: eight-year-old Millie and five-year-old Joel.
