REMPLOY, the leading provider of employment services for disabled people in Wales, today announced their factories at Brynaman and Ystradgynlais are to close.
They said no jobs would be lost and disabled employees would be transferred to Remploy's factory in Neath Port Talbot.
Plaid Cymru spokesman Owen Hathway condemned the move which he said would cause great difficulties because of the extra travelling.
"This is very bad news because transport links in our area are pretty poor," he said.
