A TUMBLE mother has pleaded with Carmarthenshire Council to rehome her family after being subjected to years of unprovoked attacks from local youths.
Michelle Evans, of Rhos Newydd, insists her life has been made a misery for the past five years and despite pleading with officials to move her, she remains "living in hell."
The thirty-two-year-old mother of three has received letters of support from ex Llanelli AM Catherine Thomas but the council have still refused to relocate the family.
"We've had bricks thrown through our window and have had to send our children to schools out of the area because they were getting picked on," said Mrs Evans.
"We just want to get out of here.
"We would like to move closer to Ammanford but at the end of the day we just want to leave Tumble," she said.
Mrs Evans admits there is an outstanding issue with the council because her rent is in arrears but insists there is a way around it.
"I should be able to transfer any arrears over to a new property," she said.
Carmarthenshire County Council area housing manager Amman and Gwendraeth Richard Batt said: "We take incidents of harassment very seriously and are currently liaising with the local police to resolve the matter."
