PARENTS who have been visiting the Urdd Eisteddfod in Carmarthen have been encouraged to try real nappies on their babies.
Sustainability officers manning the stall inside the Carmarthenshire County Council pavilion offered advice and encouragement to parents to make the change for the sake of the environment and their purses.
Sustainability officer Hannah James said: "We had a good display including a demonstration of how to put on a real nappy."
Recycling officers say real nappies will save parents a fortune and help the planet by cutting down on waste.
