AMMANFORD is set to be transformed into a spooky setting on the scariest night of the year.
You can expect the unexpected on Wednesday, October 31 as the town gears up for Halloween.
Ammanford Town Council are set to host a fang-tastic free event during half-term to entertain the Dracula's and witches of Ammanford.
The annual Zombie Walk will kick-off the proceedings and will see ghouls and ghosts meet outside Argos in Quay Street at 5pm ready to walk to Ammanford Park.
Residents are encouraged to dress up in their scariest costumes.
Upon arrival to Ammanford Park, which will be transformed into a spooky woods, there will be free goodies provided by the town council.
A zombie disco will be on hand to get the ghosts grooving and the skeleton’s sliding.
There will be various tents serving tasty treats from toffee apples to sweets – which will guaranteed be a fan favourite with the mini monsters.
The event will take place from 5pm and end at 7pm.
Councillor Emma Evans, who is responsible for park events, said: “We are really looking forward to seeing everyone at our Halloween event.
“You can dress up as scary you like and there will be prizes for the best costume and best dancer.
“Ammanford Cricket Club have also agreed to transform their venue into a spooky building which will be a great addition to the event.”
