The countdown has begun until Party on the Pitch returns to Tycroes.

The twelfth annual event will take place on Saturday, June 15 and it promises to be an extravaganza with a huge variety of attractions for every age range.

Organisers have announced the full list of acts which will be taking to the stage at the family fun day.

The Voice UK finalist Bethzienna Williams will be taking to the stage in Tycroes next month. The Welsh performer wowed the coaches in the blind auditions with her performance of Solomon Burke’s ‘Cry to Me’ before her impromptu duet with Sir Tom Jones.

The Barry star then became the show's first ever recipient of the ‘Lifeline Vote’ before a dramatic, show stopping rendition of Lesley Gore’s ‘You Don’t Own Me’ won public affection and saw her secure her place the last four.

The aspiring singer regularly uploads videos of her song covers to YouTube.

If you didn’t manage to snap up tickets to the Spice Girls comeback tour you will be able to swing it, shake it, move it, make it with Wannabe - The Spice Girls Show who will also be at this year’s event.

The Trends will be there performing some of the best tracks from 50s rock and blues, 60s soul, Motown, 70s disco and funk and 80's pop and rock classics as well as covers from Olly Murs, Lady Gaga, The Killers and Queen.

The Ultimate Classic Rock Show, Peepshow, Syren and James Peter Hatton are also on the line up which promises to be bigger and better then ever before.

As well as some great live music, so much more, fun for all the family, including an all weather arena including large bar, Bouncy Castle, Inflatable Slide, Face Painting & Glitter Tattoos, Food Stalls, Ice Cream Van, Sweet Stall, Snow Cones, Crepes, Dinky Donuts, Rodeo Bull, Bungee Run, Gladiator Duel, Swingboats and a chance to meet Paw Patrol’s Marshall, Chase and Skye and much more.

Event organiser Chris Nicholas said: “Once again we have been overwhelmed by acts who would like to play the festival which is a great testament to the event.

“Our aim is to make your day a memorable one so that you keep coming back year after year.

“This year another seven fantastic bands and acts are ready to rock with over nine hours of live music.

“Party on the Pitch is committed to offering an affordable day out, and therefore ticket prices remain the same as last year.

“We have frozen the prices for 2019 with adult tickets just £10, children aged between 11 and 16 are £7 and for the sixths consecutive year, children aged 10 and under can party for free.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the bands and acts involved, our event partners, suppliers, sponsors and you our loyal supporters for your continued support.”
