Llandeilo Twinning Association together with Dinefwr Park held their annual Three Parks Challenge on Friday evening.
The race is a demanding multi-terrain event over 10k through Parc Dinefwr, Parc Penlan and Parc Le Conquet and takes in some of the Towy Valley's most breathtaking scenery. Celebrating its fifth anniversary the event is growing both in popularity and reputation among club runners with this year seeing over 260 entrants.
Running for Amman Valley Harriers Llandeilo's own Rob Davies won the event in his new record time of 36 minutes and 19 seconds; beating his previous course record by nearly a minute.
Llanelli Athletic Club's David Keenan came second in 36 minutes and 28 seconds and Llanelli Athletic's Nick Sheeran came third in a very respectable 38 minutes and 08 seconds.
