Cross Hands man admits speeding on A48
A Cross Hands man has been fined for speeding on the A48.
Patrick Vaughan Geoghan, of Caeglas, Cross Hands, pleaded guilty under the single justice procedure to speeding on the A48 near Pensarn on July 17.
The court heard how the 43-year-old was caught by laser travelling at a speed of 79mph in a 60mph zone.
He was fined £66, ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and his licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
