People from Ammanford and the surrounding area celebrated St David's Day with a live stream concert yesterday.
Organised by Councillor Llio Davies and Lyn Morgans, as part of Ammanford town council's events committee, the online Dydd Gwyl Dewi concert featured young talents who entertained viewers with Welsh songs and traditional dance.
The show was streamed via the town council's Facebook page.
Cllr Llio Davies, said: "It was very well received and many people felt it was a very positive action to take during these times.
"It is also incredible to realise how much talents there is in our town and this must be the case for every town in Wales as well.
"We hope that other councils will be inspired by the work we have done in Ammanford and get on board to do the same in the future.
"It's a great way to show off the talents locally, particulary during these difficult times when we can't hold in-person events."
Talents showcased on the day include local choirs Cor Lleisiaur'r Cwm and Cor Meibion Dyffryn Aman.
Dawnswyr Penrhyd gave a performance as well as a variety of individual local singers.
Llio added: "The performers sang some very uplifting songs that celebrated our heritage and our nation."
