A LLANDOVERY teenager has been committed for sentence at Swansea Crown Court after admitting to making and distributing indecent images of children.
Rhys Long, of Cynghordy, Llandovery, indicated a guilty plea when appearing at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on March 25.
The 19-year-old admitted making 40 Category A - the most extreme category - indecent photographs; 21 Category B indecent photographs and 101 Category C indecent photographs, all at Llandovery between January 1, 2016 and November 28, 2019.
Long also admitted distributing 45 Category C indecent photographs of children on October 29 at Llandovery; distributing 45 Category C indecent photographs of children on November 22 at Llandovery; possessing 25 extreme pornographic images depicting bestiality at Llandovery on November 28.
He was remanded on unconditional bail to appear before Swansea Crown Court for sentence on April 16 and is required to register with the police in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
