A Gorslas pub is ready to welcome back guests as it officially reopens its doors following a six-figure investment by Marston’s.
The Tafarn Y Phoenix has received a full transformation, welcoming a contemporary new style and over 10 new jobs have been created for the local area.
Providing a new lease of life for the pub, the refurbishment has focused on opening up the space enabling additional seating for guests both inside and outdoors.
The beer garden and the exterior of the pub were in much need of some TLC, so work has taken place to restore the pub and now guests will be able to enjoy alfresco dining or summer drinks in the sun in style.
Mandy Mcateer, who has been the general manager at the Tafarn Y Phoenix for nearly five years, said: “This is a really exciting time for the Tafarn Y Phoenix and it’s great to see the pub being revitalised after an uncertain 12 months.
"We’re excited to welcome people back and for them to see the results of our hard work.”
