Cwmamman United’s competitive season begins this Saturday, July 24 at 2pm as their first team welcome South Gower FC to Grenig Park for a JD FAW Welsh Cup 2ND Qualifying Round tie.
Jody Thomas, first team manager said: "Pre-season has gone pretty well and the boys are excited at the thought of competitive football again after such a long time.
"While it is very early in the season, to get off to a good start will be important and a good run in the Welsh cup could be great for the players, supporters and the club."
South Gower play a level below Cwmamman in the newly formed Tier 4 West Wales Premier club and have a history in the Welsh League.
"We last played them just over 10 years ago when we were both in Welsh League Division 3 and it was a tight match then, and I expect another one Saturday," said Alun Rees, club secretary
