LLANDEILO woman and Welsh international footballer Ffion Morgan has been signed by Bristol City.
The full-back links up with the Robins ahead of the 2021/22 Championship season after spending the last campaign at league opponents Crystal Palace.
The 21-year-old said: “I’m grateful and excited by the opportunity to join Bristol City and link up with Lauren (Smith) again after working closely with her at international level.
“This is my first deal with a full-time club, which is a big step for me and will allow me to fully focus on my football and become the best player possible on the pitch.
“From experience I know the Championship is a very competitive league with a lot of strong teams, and I’m determined to contribute to success on the pitch and help the club achieve their ambitions.”
Morgan returns to the Robins having previously spent three years at Bristol Academy in the youth age groups between 2015-2018.
The 10-cap Wales international then joined Cardiff City in 2018/19 before completing season-long spells at Coventry United and Crystal Palace in the years following.
