Towy Valley folk band The Meadows will headline a special event in the gorgeous setting of Gelli Aur to launch their new album Dreamless Days this weekend.
The band will also welcome a host of local performers to join them on the night, which will see all proceeds going the Restoration Fund of the Gelli Aur mansion.
The event has been called ‘Dreamless Days - A Concert by Candlelight’ and takes place this Saturday, September 18 from 6.30pm.
The evening will begin outdoors with Nantgaredig Community Band, Cog Dancing and Morris Dancing, including food on the terrace. This will be followed by a trail around the candle-lit arboretum, and then moving in to the mansion for ‘Dreamless Days’ performed under candlelight. This will be followed by a set with Welsh music legend Steve Balsamo singing with the band.

The Meadows are a multi-instrumentalist Celtic-Crossover folk band. Melody, Fantasia, Harvey and Titania play an assortment of instruments including violin, flute, guitar and piano as well as singing.
