There have been 235 new coronavirus cases recorded in the Hywel Dda health board area according to today’s figures, (Tuesday, September 28).
Public Health Wales (PHW) data shows there were 126 new cases in Carmarthenshire, 76 in Pembrokeshire and 33 in Ceredigion since the last report.
The total number of cases across the three counties now stands at 29,833 – 18,320 in Carmarthenshire, 7,499 in Pembrokeshire and 4,019 in Ceredigion.
There have been two new Covid-related deaths have been recorded in the Hywel Dda area since the last report, with the total reaching 513 throughout the pandemic.
In total 2,270 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across Wales today bringing the national total to 349,470 cases.
There have been 22,364 tests done across the country since the last report.
There were six new Covid-related deaths reported with the total across Wales now 5,870 deaths.
Across Wales, 2,374,984 have received a first dose of Covid-19 vaccine and 2,220,762 are fully vaccinated.
