There have been 537 new coronavirus cases in the Hywel Dda Health Board area in the last 24 hours according to today’s figures (Monday, November 8).
The latest data from Public Health Wales. For a two day period, shows there were 277 new cases in Carmarthenshire, 183 in Pembrokeshire and 77 in Ceredigion since the last report.
The total number of cases across the three counties now stands at 43,063 – 24,784 in Carmarthenshire, 12,391 in Pembrokeshire and 5,888 in Ceredigion.
There were no new Covid-related deaths recorded in the Hywel Dda area since the last report, with the total standing at 578 throughout the pandemic.
In total 4,303 new cases of coronavirus and 14 new Covid-related deaths have been reported across Wales bringing the national total to 459,325 cases and 6,237 deaths.
There have been 39,580 tests done across the country since the last report.
Across Wales 2,453,403 people have had their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine and 2,249,300 have had their second dose and are fully vaccinated.
Booster doses have been given to 527,769 people and 28,944 people have received a three dose primary course of Covid-19 vaccine.
Hywel Dda University Health Board is no longer updating its vaccination reports with invitations for third ‘booster’ doses now going out to residents across the three counties in priority order.
