Mark Walters, Paul Garritty, Rob King and Steve Francis were winners for Tycroes RFC in a 4-3 victory against Reading Room Reds.

Llandybie RFC were 4-3 winners at Cross Hands A, courtesy of D Jones, S Isaac and M Hughes; for the hosts, Elwyn Williams, Gerald Evans and Howell Pritchard struck.

New Lodge lost 5-2 to the Gremlin Club, and Pont Cons B, for whom David Gabe, Mark Aberstraw, Keith Williams and Will Shadrach won, defeated Bryn B 5-2 .

Up in division one, Cross Hands B lost 6-1 at Upper Tumble Blues. For the home side, J Bradley, M.Hughes, S Lewis, E Rees and N Walters were all on the ball.

Matchroom Whites lost 4-3 to Snooker World Whites, for whom Andrew Whitfield, Simon Crocker and captain Dai Luce were on top.

Legion Whites won 6-1 against Gorseinon Workmen, and Matchroom Reds hammered Pontarddulais Workmens' 7-0 (Dan Wells 77 and 59 breaks, Phil Williams 65 and 35).

Llanelli Cons won 4-3 win at Morfa, Llanesco won 4-3 at Reading Room Blues and Pontyberem lost 4-3 to Trimsaran.

In the Seven-Man Cup, Snooker World Blues knocked out Cross Hands A 4-2, Matchroom Whites were 4-1 winners against Gorseinon Workmens and Pontarddulais Workmen won 4-0 at Ponthenri Social.
