K Sullivan provided Pontarddulais Workmens' solitary point from a 6-1 loss at Upper Tumble Blues in the Llanelli Snooker league.
For the home side, M Hughes, C Rees, J Bradley, E Rees and N Walters were all on top.
Burry Port Legion defeated Snooker World Whites 4-3; Callum Jackson, Ben Thomas and John Meadow won for the Ammanford cuemen.
Burry Port Reading Room Blues were 4-3 winners against Llandybie Social A, for whom Lindsay Pugh, Wyn Major and Tim Walters won .
Morfa earned a 6-1 victory against Cross Hands B as only Gary Stead's frame averted the dreaded “whitewash”.
In division two, Matchroom Blacks claimed a 5-2 win at Cross Hands A, whose winners were Elwyn Williams and Gerald Evans .
G Thomas and W Shadrach supplied frame wins as Pont Cons B sank to a 5-2 reversal against Reading Room Reds.
CGMD's good form continued as the leaders edged a 4-3 win against Bryn, with Wyn Llewelyn, Ray Evans and Matthew Jones winning.
Gremlin Club were 5-2 winners at Tycroes RFC B as M Walters and T Lewis won for the Rugby Club.
Elsewhere, New Lodge B edged a 4-3 win at Llandybie Social B, who nicked the aggregate point after Howard Wood and Shaun Watkins had supplied good wins.
In the Cup there were wins for Llandybie Social A (4-3 against Ponthenri), Bryn A (4-1 v BPRR Reds) and Trimsaran (5-2 against UT Reds).
