Llandovery has begun its countdown to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations with a bumper weekend of fun, parties and activities.
Events kick off on Thursday June 2 when a beacon will be lit to herald the start of the town's four-day celebration.
On Friday, June 3, organisations and clubs are invited to host their individual events to help raise funds and awareness of their own respective groups.
These could include sporting events, cycle rides, runs and crafting.
On Saturday, June 4, street parties will be taking place throughout the town and finally on Sunday, June 5 the council will be hosting a celebratory tea party for the children of the town and the pensioners.
The weekend is being organised by Llandovery Town Council. Anyone wishing to help out or organise an event can ring 01550 721951 or email dorothy@broadwayhouse.org.uk.
