Cross Hands B enjoyed one of their best wins of the season with a 6-1 victory against Ponthenri in the Llanelli Snooker League first division.
Alex Dickie made a fine 57 break en-route, with Paul Martin, Mal Jones, Dai Isaacs and Jeff Jones adding frame-wins.
There was a 6-1 victory also for Pontarddulais Workmen, as Keri Davies, Adam Griffiths, Chris Marston, Chris Griffiths and Mike Footman won against Morfa.
Matchroom Whites edged a 4-3 victory against Upper Tumble Blues, for whom Joe Evans, James Bradley and John Shields won.
Pontyberem suffered a 4-3 defeat against Snooker World Whites. For the Ammanford side, Ben Thomas, Andrew Whitfield, Tim Walters and Sam Hinton were on the ball.
In division two, Glanamman side CGMD won 5-2 at Reading Room Reds, thanks to Ray Evans,Paul Landek, James Varney (46 break) and Matthew Jones.
Second-placed Gremlin Club won 5-2 against Pont Cons B, whose winners were Geraint Thomas and Will Shadrach.
Bottom -side Tycroes RFC, whose winning-duo were Arwyn Rees (22 clearance) and Steve Ruck, lost out 5-2 at Llandybie Social B, whose points came via Huw Morgan, Lindsay Pugh, Brian Jenn and John Poole.
Mike Sainty, Kev Evans and Steve Marshall edged Upper Tumble Reds to a 4-3 win against Cross Hands A. Howell Pritchard, Dai Bunford and Gerald Evans replied.
