A NEW outreach service has begun to help the people in Ammanford.
Ammanford Outreach Project is to be based at Ammanford Church on Wind Street, Ammanford.
It was set up by PCSO Owen and PCSO Jeremiah to help those in the Ammanford area receive any help or support they may need.
PSCO Gareth Owen previously set up a similar project in Llanelli which he said has helped more than 75 people in the six months it has been going.

For two days a month, a number of outreach services including Dyfed Powys Police, the NHS, Ammanford Food Bank, and support organisations for those struggling with addictions, mental health issues and a variety of other problems will be available for anyone who wishes to get support and if the agencies in attendance are unable to help, they will be able to signpost to the best place.
"A lot of people are unaware of what help is available until it gets to crisis point but if we can make people aware of what help is available, we can prevent it getting that far," said Mr Owen.
The first outreach will take place on Monday, May 9 between 1-2pm and a second will take place on May 23.
