A MOTORIST has been fined for speeding and crossing a solid white line.
Justin William Scott Child, of Cwrt y Waun, Rhydyfro, Pontardawe, was fined a total of £228 at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 27.
Child admitted to failing to comply with solid white line road markings and exceeding the 60mph speed limit on the A477, Llanddowror, Pembrokeshire on November 21 last year. He was caught travelling at a speed of 81 miles per hour.

The 26-year-old entered a guilty plea via the single justice procedure and was not present in court.
Taking his guilty plea into account, magistrates fined him £228 fine and ordered him to pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs. His licence was endorsed with four penalty points.
