TWO Ystradgynlais residents recently appeared in court.
Dean Clive Morris, 35, of Lluest, Ystradgynlais, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates Court on July 22 where he was found guilty of using a mobile phone while driving.
He was caught on February 26 on Wind Road and was fined £220, given six points on his licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Samuel Graham Stokes, 34, of Min-Y-Rhos, Ystradgynlais, admitted breaching a community order at Swansea Magistrates Court on July 25.
The breach happened on April 30 and June 4 where he failed to attend his unpaid work requirements and did not provide adequate evidence for the missed appointments. His initial order has been varied and he must complete 120 hours unpaid work within the next 12 months and pay £60 costs.
