THREE people have recently appeared in court on speeding charges.
Justin Williams, 50, of Bethel Road, Lower Cwmtwrch, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on August 3.
He was caught on February 3 doing 36mph on B4355 Presteigne Road, Knighton, where the limit is 30mph.
He was fined £112 and given three points on his licence but avoided a ban due to exceptional circumstances. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £110 costs.
Peter Duncan Phillips, 39, of Carmarthen Street, Llandeilo, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on July 29.

He was caught on December 27 doing 43mph on A476 Gorslas, where the limit is 30mph. He initially pleaded not guilty but changed his plea.
He was fined £166 and given four points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £85 costs.
Meirion Davies, 53, of New Road, Pontardawe, admitted speeding at Worcester Justice Centre on August 5.
He was caught on January 9 doing more than the 50mph limit on the A40 Pencraig. He was fined £293 and given five points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
