AN appeal for information has been launched after a woman was bitten by a Rottweiler in Pontardawe.
The alleged attack took place on the canal path between Pontardawe and Ynysmeudwy at around 6pm on Saturday, August 20.
The victim, a 20-year-old woman, needed hospital treatment for the bite wound.
South Wales Police have said they would like to find the man with the dog. The animal is said to be a ginger and black Rottweiler that was wearing a black or brown collar.

The man is said to be around five foot 11 and in his late forties or early fifties. He is of stocky build with "a neat grey beard, grey short hair and wearing shorts."
The man is urged by police to get in contact and anyone with any information about the attack or thinks they know the man should also get in touch with police.
