Multiple people were pulled from their cars by emergency services following a two-vehicle crash in Ammanford yesterday afternoon, when one casualty was taken to hospital.
The crash, which was reported at around 2.15pm, occurred on Margaret Street, and Dyfed-Powys Police, Welsh Ambulance Service and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended.
The road was closed, as fire crews used their equipment to remove people involved from the cars.
One emergency ambulance was sent, which took one casualty from the scene later that evening to Glangwili Hospital.

A spokesperson from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “On Tuesday, September 13, at 2.25pm, crews from Ammanford and Llandeilo attended an incident in Margaret Street, Ammanford.
“Incident involved a road traffic collision between two private motor vehicles.
“Crews assisted in the extraction of persons from vehicles using small gear equipment and chocks and blocks. Ambulance and police were also on scene.
“Crews left the incident at 8.05pm.”
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called yesterday (September 13) to reports of a road traffic collision, involving two vehicles on Margaret Street, Ammanford.
“We sent one emergency ambulance to the scene, where one person was transported to Glangwili Hospital for further treatment.”
