The Ammanford Big Weekend, scheduled for this coming weekend, has been postponed due to the national period of mourning.
The event was scheduled to take place on the weekend of Friday, September 16 to Saturday, September 17. However, the event has been delayed by one week after the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
A spokesperson from Ammanford Big Weekend said: “Following the news of the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II and under advisement to respect the 10-day period of national mourning, Ammanford Town Council would like to announce the postponement of the Ammanford BIG Weekend event to the 23rd/24th September.
“If you have already registered tickets, the dates on these have been amended.
“However, if you are unable to attend the new date, please cancel your ticket to open a space for somebody else to come along.
“Ammanford Town Council would like to thank you for your understanding at this difficult time.”
