A 21-YEAR-OLD woman has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Ammanford dad Bernard Jason Evans, who bled to death after being stabbed in his own home.
Mr Evans, 41, died during an incident at his Pantyffynnon Road property in the early hours of Tuesday, January 22.
Maxine Violet Williams, the daughter of Mr Evans' partner, was arrested at the scene in Pantyffynnon and charged with the father-of-one's murder.
She denied that charge at Swansea Crown Court on Friday and will now face a three-week trial.
Magistrates in Llanelli were told at an earlier hearing how emergency services had fought in vain to save Mr Evans after an artery in his arm was severed.
Williams, who lived in Gwscwm Road, Pembrey, before the incident was remanded in custody, although no date was set for the trial.
